Sydney Markets
about markets
The markets are a very good place to pickup a bargain, but you need to pay more attention to what you buy, because you do not have the same level of protection and guaranties as you have in a big store.
Second hand goods do not have any warranty to start with, sometime you don't get an invoice and as you can see most of the markets are not open on a daily basis, therefore will be difficult to turn next day for a refund.
I think you should not go to a market to buy a Swiss watch or an expensive digital camera. Buy only goods that don't need warranty
In general, you are expected to pay cash. The good thing though, is that you can bargain with the sales person.
