about Sydney Wildlife World ...
Opened in 2006 and located in
Darling Harbour next door to the
Sydney Aquarium, Sydney Wildlife World is a small zoo specialized in Australian animals. While is not as comprehensive as
Taronga Zoo, is closer to the City Center and as a tourist you would be probably more interested to meet the Australian animals rather than other animals and this is what Sydney Wildlife World is offering.
Sydney Wildlife World animal and habitat groups:
- butterflies
- spineless wonders
- reptiles
- birds
- nocturnal animals
- semi-arid grasslands
- koalas
- kangaroos
Pros: nice displays, most representatives Australian animals, close to the City, you can take nice pictures of the animals, you can touch some of the animals. Cons: ridiculous expensive
tourist information ...
